COMPOSTING
Window composting using RFK modules
Ventilation of composting floors accelerates decomposition!
The basic components are the low-cost patent-protected RFK modules. Easy to manufacture, easy to clean and inexpensive to maintain window composting based on RFK modules: the perfect solution even for the composting of very small quantities.
Composting in boxes
Advantages: shorter decomposition time, more homogeneous material and a better-quality finished product.
Composting boxes that are open or covered by easy-to-open lids are the perfect alternative for small to medium throughput capacities and difficult feed materials.
Dynamic composting systems
Flat windows up to 5m wide and 110 m long are kept in composting boxes with fully automated compost turning equipment. A rotating drum ensures intensive mixing of the material, with compensation of volume losses.
Dynamic composting systems are used for large and very large throughputs (100 tons/d or more).
Rotte-Filter process
The patented Rotte-Filter process controls aeration during the composting process in the material being composted.
The Rotte-Filter process basically employs a combination of negative-pressure and positive-pressure forced air ventilation, which is switched between different composting boxes at pre-set intervals.
This results in an intensive exchange of bacteria, homogenises the water content, and reduces waste air emissions.
The Rotte-Filter process is used in all of the three composting methods described above.
